West Indies Women crashed their Pakistani counterparts by 88 runs at Karachi on April 23 to cater themselves to a 3-0 ODI series triumph. Visiting skipper Hayley Matthews grabbed the spotlight in Pakistan with both aspects of the game, emerging as the highest run-scorer as well as the leading wicket-taker of the series.

As one can expect, the 26-year-old was fittingly adjudged as the ‘Player of the Series’ for her all-round show, which also helped her attain a significant boost on the ICC ranking charts.

Hayley Matthews pounded 325 runs in three ODIs against Pakistan Women at an average of 162.5. Her run-scoring spree also featured two scores of 140 or more, with both accounting for two of her six ODI centuries. 

Moreover, the dashing all-rounder also seized six wickets through her right-arm off-breaks, which included a match-winning spell of 3-17 in the series opener on April 18.
