Marcus Stoinis orchestrated a remarkable heist for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) franchise against defending champions CSK in match number 39 of the IPL 2024 season. The broad-shouldered Australian all-rounder packed 124 unbeaten runs from just 63 balls to ensure his side soared past the finishing line in a clutch last-over high-scoring thriller at Chennai.

While Stoinis’ run-chase heroics soon became the talk of the cricketing town, a celebration of a particular LSG fan also gained much traction on social media after the contest. The fan in question, spotted among a sea of CSK’s yellow at Chepauk Stadium, was seen dancing and celebrating his team’s victory.

LSG fan among disappointed CSK supporters go viral

Despite the overwhelming presence of CSK supporters at the Chepauk Stadium, it was an LSG fan who stood out for his celebration after the high-scoring IPL 2024 thriller between the two franchises.

The fan in question was caught on camera as he was jubilantly dancing and celebrating his team’s remarkably victory while being surrounded by a number of dejected and disappointed CSK enthusiasts.

LSG’s win on April 23 marked their second triumph over CSK this week, as they elevated themselves up to number four position on the IPL 2024 points table. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK group, on the other hand, slipped outside the playoffs reckoning to be placed at number five on the 10-team ladder.

The LSG franchise will now face season’s table-toppers Rajasthan Royals in match number 44 of the IPL 2024 season. The much-awaited contest will be staged at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium on April 27.
