Indian off-spin bowling all-rounder Deepti Sharma stole the show in the 3rd ODI against England Women at Lord's as she ran out Charlotte Dean at the non-striker end to hand the Women in Blue a stunning 3-0 series win.

It all happened in the 44th over of England's innings when non-striker Dean proceeded to move out of the crease while Deepti was still in her follow-through.

Sharma was quite smart and as soon as Dean moved out of the crease, she proceeded to dislodge the stumps and appeal for run-out.

The appeal was sent upstairs to the 3rd umpire, who rightly ruled the decision in India's favor amid boos from the Lord's crowd.

The wicket gave India a 17-run win in the 3rd ODI and a historic 3-0 whitewash over their hosts; a fitting farewell for the legendary Jhulan Goswami, who did her bit by claiming two wickets and 1 sharp catch at 1st slip.

As usual, social media is divided, with former England players and pundits moaning over the lack of 'Spirit of Cricket'

However, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur took a firm stand for Deepti in the post-match presentation as she reminded everyone that the off-spinner was well within her right to run Dean out.
