On the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami, the God of Cricket- Sachin Tendulkar posts a series of pictures of him celebrating and doing the rituals of the festival. He is very active on social media and never forgets to post on festivals or appreciate a player and a team.
Yesterday, the Afghanistan team pulled off another upset in the ongoing World Cup 2023 by beating the Pakistan team by eight wickets. The master blaster took no time to post a tweet congratulating the Afghanistan team and appreciating their efforts during the game. He also appreciated their mentor, Ajay Jadeja who is a former Indian cricketer and a friend of the master.

In the pictures, Sachin can be seen praying in front of the statues of gods and he also kept a bat and a ball in front of him, which shows how he worships the game of cricket and includes the sport in everything he does. He also took a blessing from his mother on this auspicious day of the Hindu festival.
He has shared the post including a message which links cricket with the ultimate message of Dussehra, which is the victory of good over evil. Sachin has written giving a reference of a ball which sails over the boundary and wishes the triumph of good over evil to clear all the hurdles in life. He also wrote, keep batting for the right cause. This is how he delivered the ultimate message of the festival beautifully.
Sachin must have prayed for India's victory in this World Cup as well. Over 1.4 billion people are praying for the same which is why the team India is yet to be defeated in this tournament. Rohit and his men will be taking on the England team on the coming Sunday in their sixth game of the tournament.
