Dates revealed for IND Vs WI Tests [Source: @BCCI/X.com]
The tentative schedule for the India vs West Indies Test series was revealed on Saturday. As per TOI's Gaurav Gupta, the two teams will collide in the two-match series, starting in the month of October. The series will be a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
As per TOI, the first Test of the series will be hosted in Mohali, and the second Test will take place in Eden Gardens, Kolkata from October 10 to 14. The exact dates for the Mohali Test has not been revealed, but it is expected to start in the first week of October.
This will be India's first home Test series in the upcoming WTC cycle as the Rohit Sharma led side will play against England away from home, prior to the West Indies series.
What happened the last time IND and West Indies collided?
The last time India and West Indies collided in a Test series was back in 2023 when India travelled to the Caribbean Island for a 2-game series. Interestingly, India won the series, 1-0 and kept their hopes alive for a place in the WTC finals of the 2023-25 edition.
