Virat Kohli's wait for an IPL trophy has finally ended with RCB winning the final of IPL 2025 against Punjab Kings by six runs. The win was followed by passionate celebrations from fans and players and it turned out to be quite an emotional moment for the people who have waited for 18 long years.

Virat Kohli too was emotional and was allowed to lift the trophy by his captain Rajat Patidar with all players around him. Swastik Chikara, the 20-year-old youngster who has openly displayed his love for Virat Kohli throughout the season, started doing Gangnam style dance.

It is similar to the celebration of Virat Kohli during the 2013 Champions Trophy. Shreyas Iyer did the same after the 2025 Champions Trophy win and those two celebrations are quite iconic in the Indian cricket. Now, there is a perception that Swastik Chikara mocked Shreyas Iyer, the captain of Punjab Kings with that Gangnam style celebration. Check the video here.

However, it is also possible that Swastik Chikara was not even thinking of Shreyas Iyer and his celebration. He might only be focussed on his idol Virat Kohli and thought it as a fitting moment to do the dance with him during the iconic win.

Previously, Swastik Chikara and Virat Kohli's banters have caught the attention of the cricket fans around the world. Chikara did not play a single game in IPL 2025, but is likely to get chance in future and is known for his clean-hitting. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, is at the fag end of his career, but he did now show signs of retirement after RCB's title win and is likely to play for the franchise for the next few years.
