Star Mumbai Players And MCA Discuss Challenges For 42-Time Ranji Champions Ahead Of 2024-25 Season

The newly appointed president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, Ajinkya Naik, turned his game face on as he took on the duties and roles of the president during the most recent meeting where Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials and teams across the age groups discussed various concerns and ways to tackle challenges ahead of the 2024-25 season.

On Sunday, president Ajinkya Naik called the meeting, which was attended by all Mumbai teams’ players, coaches, selectors, support staff, MCA’s Cricket Advisory Committee members, advisors, and other key stakeholders.

“The meeting marked a pivotal step towards fostering unity and progress within the cricketing fraternity,” joint secretary Deepak Patil informed.

“This session underscored the unwavering commitment of the MCA to elevate the quality and performance of Mumbai cricket,” he added, instilling a sense of reassurance and optimism in the stakeholders.

Naik reiterated his encouragement for those in attendance to voice their issues, fostering an environment of open and constructive dialogue with the players to understand their challenges and concerns.

The players were assured of the association’s preparedness to resolve all issues.

“The players and support staff were not just given the opportunity, but actively encouraged to speak freely. They took this opportunity to express their thoughts and concerns,” Patil added, making them feel valued and heard.
