In a significant development, Smriti Mandhana's father has been discharged from hospital. Notably, Srinivas dealt with health complications on the day of his daughter Smriti's wedding to music composer Palaash Muchhal.
The wedding day turned tragic as an Ambulance arrived at the scene, and Srinivas had to be quickly rushed to the hospital. There were reports that Smriti's father had heart-related issues, but nothing was confirmed by Mandhana's manager, who officially announced that the wedding has been postponed indefinitely.
It led to a series of tragic events as Palaash, who also shares a close bond with Smriti's father, also fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. The couple mutually decided to pospone their big day as they couldn't have it without Smriti's father. Nonetheless, in the latest events, the doctors have stated that Srinivas is stable and has been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, November 25. Meanwhile, the doctors at the hospital too have confirmed that Srinivas is stable.
"Smriti's father is completely stable now, with the heart condition no longer posing any threat. The doctors also performed angiography on Srinivas, in which no blockages were found," remarked NDTV as quoted by an India TV report.
New Wedding date yet to be revealed
Now that Mandhana's father is fit again, the fans are eagerly waiting for the new wedding date, but no such update has been provided as of now. It is likely that the two families are waiting for Srinivas to get adequate rest and don't want to rush things, fearing any sort of health relapse.
Further, there is little update on Palaash's health and the families would also wait for the composer to regain 100% fitness before procedding for the wedding because it is an tiring process.
