'Shhhh'- David Warner's Wife Candice Takes Jibe At Mitchell Johnson Following His Breezy Ton

Veteran Australian opener David Warner had a magnificent start to the home summer, slamming a scintillating ton in the first Test against Pakistan in Perth. Opening the batting alongside Usman Khawaja, Warner ensured an extraordinary start for Australia, placing them in the driving seat on the very first day. 

This series holds significant importance for Warner, as he is all set to hang up his boots from the format after it. As soon as he celebrated the century with his trademark leap, his wife Candice Warner posted a cryptic tweet on social media X. 

After Warner completed his belligerent hundred, Candice took to her official social media handle, posting his husband's image with a caption 'shhhh', asking his critics to keep silence. 

Candice's cryptic post seems to be directed towards Mitchell Johnson, who lashed out at Warner for choosing a farewell Test series. 

In his column for The West Australian, Johnson mentioned that the batter has no right to demand a farewell game as he was involved in the infamous ball-tampering saga in Cape Town Test against South Africa. 

Regarding the Perth Test, Australia are in a commanding position, placed at 263 for three, with Warner and Travis Head batting on 139* and 15*, respectively.
