Senior Women's T20 | Harleen, Shafali hog limelight on Day 6

Day 6 of the Senior Women’s T20 League witnessed some blistering performances with the bat. Harleen Deol caught everyone’s eyes with a stunning century, while Shafali Verma’s dream run in the tournament continued as her all-around efforts helped Haryana gain vital points.

Shafali Verma leads from the front again as Haryana trump Bengal

Verma has been on the top of her game and leading the side by example. Up against a challenging opposition in Bengal, the power-hitter scored a nonchalant 75* to get her team over the line.

The Haryana captain was in the game with the ball too. Verma scalped two wickets, including that of Richa Ghosh (17). She ran out Saika Ishaque to add to her achievements in the game.

Chasing 138 to win, Haryana rode on their Hurricane’s brilliance to scale down the target in 18.2 overs. Her match-winning knock consisted of eleven boundaries and two sixes.

Harleen Deol makes a statement with a magnificent 112* against Delhi

Himachal Pradesh’s Harleen struck a stellar century to guide her team to a seven-wicket victory over Delhi.

With 144 to chase, Harleen held one end from start to finish. Her unbeaten knock of 112 came in 73 balls and consisted of 18 fours and a six.
