USA Pacer Ali Khan Blasts Pakistan

The USA took the world by storm during the T20 World Cup 2024 in June when they stunned mighty Pakistan in the group stage round. The defeat will go down in history as one of the biggest upsets in cricket, as the USA eventually went on to qualify for the Super 8, while Pakistan crashed out of the group stage.

In the latest events, USA's seamer Ali Khan, spoke to the press, ahead of the upcoming tour against Namibia, he reflected on the USA's successful T20 World Cup campaign

"We weren't under pressure, they were. We knew we were capable of beating them. We beat Pakistan in all four departments, including fitness," the pacer said.

"We are capable enough of beating them (the Men in Green) again. No disrespect to them, but I think we are a really good side, if we have a full-strength squad we can beat any team on our day, not just Pakistan but it will be a great game if we play them again," he added.
