The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground is hosting the Boxing Day Test match between India and Australia and showing their dominance again on the big stage. The day becomes more special for debutant Sam Konstas as he made his Test debut, adding a little twist. The young opener unlocked a milestone in his debut match.

As Sam Konstan marked his Test debut in the ongoing Test match, he scored an exceptional half-century while opening the inning. With that, he becomes the third Australian player to score the fastest half-century on Test debut for the Aussies.

On the iconic Boxing Day Test, the Melbourne crowd witnessed a thrilling debut of young Australian opener Sam Konstas. The teenage Australian batting sensation lit up the stage with an incredible half-century in just 52 deliveries. With that, he became only third Australian batter to score the fastest half-century on his Test debut joining Adam Gilchrist and Ashton Agar on the list.

Coming to open the innings with Usman Khwaja, Konstas exuded confidence from the very first delivery, putting pressure on the Indian bowlers. With powerful shots against players like Bumrah and Siraj, he showcased dominance. 

His relentless attack culminated in a stunning half-century in the 14th over. After securing two runs against Mohammad Siraj, he unlocked his half-century on his Test debut and unlocked an incredible milestone in his career.
