Sachin Tendulkar, a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-spinner, switched stances with both trades on August 13 to celebrate ‘International Lefthanders Day’.

In a short video shared by the former Indian cricketer, he amusingly said:

“Today is Lefthanders Day. So, everything left can be right. And right can be left.”

Tendulkar further went on to bowl some left-arm spin and also switched beast mode as a left-handed batter.

Sachin Tendulkar announced his international retirement in 2013 after 24 years of service to Indian cricket. Over 10 years into his retirement, the legendary Indian batter continues to remain the highest run-aggregator in international cricket. Moreover, Tendulkar is also the leading century-maker across all international formats with 100 tons, having tallied 51 of them in Test matches alone.

Individual records aside, the former Indian batter reached the pinnacle of his illustrious career on the celebrated evening of April 2, 2011 when he lifted the 2011 World Cup trophy in front of his home crowd at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Up until last year, the 51-year-old served the Mumbai Indians franchise in IPL as team mentor.
