The venue, positioned in the Rajatalab vicinity, is expected to be finalised and finished by December 2025.

The state-of-the-art sports stadium will reportedly cost around ₹451 crore, and will have the financial backing from the Uttar Pradesh government as well as from the BCCI.

According to officials, the stadium will have a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators and will feature distinctive elements like trident-shaped floodlights, seating arrangements resembling ghat steps and crescent-shaped roof covers. The press statement further claimed that the architectural design of the stadium will be inspired from the lore of Lord Shiva.
