The Indian captain, Rohit Sharma is the only player to have hammered five T20I hundreds and has the most number of sixes as well. Also, he is the second-highest run scorer in the shortest format at the international level. Well, apart from these records, he becomes the first-ever batter to score a T20I century against five different nations.
In the recently concluded T20I series against Afghanistan, India already sealed the series by winning the first two games, but the third game turned out to be an epic thriller. While batting first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, India found themselves in a tricky situation, being four wickets down for just 22 runs.
For the first time in the series, Rohit got off the mark after recording zeroes in the first two games, but it wasn't an ideal situation for him considering India lost four wickets early. He went on to play his natural game and hammered his fifth T20I hundred. After November 2018, the Hitman finally scored a ton in the T20I format.

In 2015, Sharma scored his first hundred in the T20Is, and it came against South Africa. His second T20I hundred came in 2017 against Sri Lanka, which was also the fastest T20I hundred at that time. The year 2018 became the year of Rohit Sharma, as he went on to smash two T20I hundreds against England and the West Indies.
After a wait of more than four years, Rohit Sharma arrived back in style in the shortest format and smashed the first hundred for India in the year 2024. With his 122-run knock against Afghanistan, he became the only batter to score T20I hundreds against five different nations.
