The One World One Family Cup charity cricket match was hosted by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission to embrace unity among the countries. Sachin Tendulkar, the stalwart of Indian cricket, stepped onto the field, leading the One World side, which took Sara Tendulkar back to Sachin's playing days, as she posted a story on Instagram.

For 24 years, Sachin was a huge ambassador for the sport, and to promote unity, he was the face of the One World team, while Yuvraj Singh, who battled cancer, was leading the One Family team. With players from seven nations uniting for a cause, it was Sachin's team that came out on top, defeating the One Family team in the 20-over match.

On his comeback, Sachin played a wonderful innings, scoring 27 of 16 deliveries before he got out to Muttiah Muralitharan. The god of cricket also went on to bowl a couple of overs and take the crucial wicket of Darren Maddy, the former England player who scored a half-century.

Here's a story that Sara Tendulkar put on Instagram about his father's comeback:

Sara Tendulkar, who has always been involved in the games of Sachin or Arjun, whether supporting from the stands or while watching at home, posted a story on Instagram as she experienced overwhelming emotions on her father's return to the field. She also wrote 'Nostalgia' with a picture of her father's match from home.

Even in the IPL, cricket fans have spotted her in the stands supporting the Mumbai Indians and her brother, Arjun Tendulkar, who got to make his IPL debut in the 2023 season. Not only for her, but for all the fans of Sachin experienced a nostalgic moment as Sachin went on to bat in the beautiful Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, Karnataka.
