Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli: Sunil Narine weighs in on the big rivalry

On OneCricket's YouTube channel, journalist Vimal Kumar was in conversation with Caribbean off-spinner Sunil Narine, who was asked to choose between current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli.

The all-rounder was questioned about the fandom of both the superstars, whose admirers are divided over social media. Narine, who has troubled both the players at their best, has spoken about what he feels about the current fan rivalry between the two modern-day greats of the Indian cricket. 

He feels that every follower likes to talk about the players, and instead of trying to prove someone better than the other, they are playing for the love of the sport. Adding that all are fine in their way and everyone is just trying to relish the opportunity.

"I think people just like things to talk about, so I think when guys are doing good, they always try to say who's better and who I think everyone is good in their own way and own right and enjoying the game, so I think we have played for the love of the game rather than trying to do or do someone. I think it's just personal goals guys have, and they're just trying to make."

The fans of both the senior players have been at loggerheads at times over social media. However, the duo share a great camaraderie on and off the field.
