In a remarkable achievement, Jos Buttler has become the most successful keeper-batter in T20I internationals. The English captain surpassed Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan to record the most runs among designated wicket-keepers in the shortest format. 

He unlocked the milestone during England's recently-concluded Super Eights encounter against West Indies in St Lucia. 

During a 181-run chase, Buttler contributed 25 runs off 22 deliveries before Roston Chase outfoxed him in the eighth over

Although he couldn't convert his start into a big score, his knock helped the English skipper to eclipse Rizwan and etch his name in history.

Regarding the match, England secured a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over the co-hosts, riding on spectacular knocks from Jonny Bairstow and Phil Salt. 

Bowling first, England conceded 180 runs on a decent batting track, with Johnson Charles, Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford putting up impressive performances for the Windies. 

During the chase, the visitors lost Buttler and Moeen Ali cheaply before a scintillating stand between Salt and Bairstow saw them through with 15 balls to spare. 

With the commanding win, England opened their account in the Super Eights, claiming the top spot in Group 2.
