The momentous day has arrived as India is all set to clash with Sri Lanka in the crucial final ODI game of the three-match series.

The first game ended in a thrilling tie, and in the second game, Charith Asalanka and his team outshone India. With just one game remaining, the stakes are high as India aims to level the series with a win.

Adding to the excitement, there are strong indications that India's rising star, Riyan Parag, is set to make his ODI debut today against Sri Lanka. The buzz around his extensive practice sessions in the nets with both bat and ball has only fueled the anticipation of his potential debut. He was seen bowling alongside Axar Patel and KL Rahul.

Moreover, if he is a part of India's playing XI, then it is expected that Shivam Dube will be missing out the clash.

Riyan Parag To Replace Shivam Dube?

Although Dube had a good T20 World Cup tournament in the Caribbean, he failed to bring luck with him to the Island Nation. He was unable to finish the first game, and India lost by just one run. Then, in the second game, he departed for a duck without making any mark in the game.

India's head coach, Gautam Gambhir, and skipper Rohit Sharma are considering significant changes, and one of these could be the inclusion of Riyan Parag.

Parag, who also played in the IND vs SL T20I series, proved too good with the ball. He picked up a three-wicket haul and gave away just five runs. He bowled impressively with his variations, and that is why the management could potentially bring him in.
