With the new Impact player rule in full flow, Indian Premier League (IPL) has rocketed off with some interesting substitutions. In the ongoing match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking place at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, there was an interesting swap for the home side.

Right before the start of the second innings, Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings replaced first innings' half-centurion Bhanuka Rajapaksa with medium pacer Rishi Dhawan for the game.

This won't be a surprise for many as PBKS would fancy using Rishi to bowl his full quota of overs for the second half.

Earlier, Sri Lankan recruit Rajapaksa played an outstanding knock of 50 from 32 balls where he thumped two sixes and five fours. His crucial innings helped the side to put on a massive total of 191 on the board.

Along with Bhanuka, skipper Dhawan played a fine hand with 29-ball 40 along with some later power hitting from Sam Curran.

Just as second innings was about the start, floodlight failure delayed the start of second innings which is expected to resume soon.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whom Kolkata Knight Riders choses as their impact player.
