Rishabh Pant, who was involved in a near-fatal car crash in December 2022, recently caught up with Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of India’s third T20I match against Afghanistan.

While Pant continues to recover from his injuries, the dashing wicketkeeper-batsman took to nets for a training session himself shortly after reuniting with his national teammates.

Ever since Rishabh Pant underwent the severe car crash near Uttarakhand in December 2022, he has not played a single game of competitive cricket as he continues to attain full recovery from his injuries.

Owing to the car accident, the cricketer missed the entirety of IPL 2023 season for Delhi Capitals, the WTC final against Australia, Asia Cup 2023, bilateral tours to West Indies and South Africa as well as the entire 2023 World Cup at home.

As of now, Rishabh Pant is expected to make his comeback to competitive cricket sometime during this year’s IPL 2024 season for the Capitals. The dashing wicketkeeper-batsman is also poised to represent Team India at the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies later this year.
