Rinku Singh, the star Indian middle order batter suffered a lower back spasm while fielding in the first T20I against England and has been ruled out of the second and third encounter of the series. The all-rounder Ramandeep Singh who made his debut against South Africa in India's last T20I series, has replacement him.
Along with Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy has also got side strain and he will miss the entire series and Shivam Dube has also been added to the squad. India are all set to play the second T20I of the five-match series against England at Chepauk in Chennai and with both Nitish and Rinku out, there will be atleast two changes in India's playing XI.
Dhruv Jurel And Washington Sundar Likely To Play 2nd T20I
Nitish Kumar Reddy has been sent to the BCCI centre of excellence while Rinku Singh is progressing well and is expected to be fit for the final two games of the series. The replacements of both the players would not be available for the second game in Chennai though and so Dhruv Jurel and Washington Sundar are likely to replace the duo.
India won the first game by seven wickets with spinners and Abhishek Sharma showing their might and it would be interesting to see how England react in this second game.
