When you are in form, everything just clicks and right now, Jitesh Sharma is riding that wave like a boss. After lifting the IPL 2025 title with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the explosive wicketkeeper-batter has now added another trophy to his cabinet, guiding NECO Master Blaster to a thumping seven-wicket win over Pagariya Strikers in the Vidarbha Pro T20 League 2025 final.

After IPL 2025 Victory, Jitesh Sharma Wins Another Trophy

From winning hearts on the big stage to owning the regional circuit, Jitesh Sharma’s summer has been nothing short of a dream run. Chasing a stiff target of 179, NECO were never really under pressure, thanks to a rock-solid knock from opener Vedant Dighade, who notched a classy 80 off 52 balls, laced with 8 fours and 4 sixes. He laid the perfect platform.

Aryan Meshram (42 off 26) and Adhyayan Daga (22 off 16) kept things ticking in the middle. But just when things seemed like they might get tight, in walked the skipper and it was game over.

Jitesh’s Finishing Touch Seals The Deal

Jitesh Sharma didn’t hang around and smashed 30 not out off just 11 balls, including three massive sixes and a boundary and the chase was done and dusted in 17.5 overs. Notably, he hit the winning six in pure MS Dhoni style to seal the deal. It was clean, clinical and classic Jitesh. He turned what could have been a nervy finish into a walk in the park.

Earlier in the evening, Pagariya Strikers posted a competitive 178/7, powered by a fearless 82 off 45 balls from Shivam Deshmukh. His knock was the only real resistance, as Sanmesh Deshmukh spun a web with the ball, finishing with 3 wickets and putting the brakes on Pagariya’s momentum. Despite a few cameos from Md Faiz and Vishesh Tiwari, the total just didn’t prove enough in the end.

Double Delight For Jitesh Sharma

From winning the IPL with RCB to leading his hometown team to local glory, Jitesh’s 2025 has been lit. He scored 261 runs at a strike rate of 176 in IPL 2025, made a name for himself as one of India’s most dangerous finishers and now shown he can lead a side too.

With the India T20I squad for the Bangladesh series in August set to be announced soon, Jitesh’s name should be in bold. He has been knocking on the door and now, he is hammering on it with trophies in both hands.
