In a significant development, Royal Challengers Bangalore will bowl first in their eighth group-stage face-off against Kolkata Knight Riders being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Stand-in skipper Virat Kohli is leading the side today as well, so it seems like regular captain Faf du Plessis is yet to regain full fitness.

After winning the toss, Kohli, as expected, opted to bowl first, calling it an obvious decision. The call is understandable considering the surface in Bengaluru which is going to be a paradise for the batters. Kohli also revealed that they are fielding the same XI, with Du Plessis coming in as the impact player in the second half.

Meanwhile, speaking of KKR, skipper Nitish Rana disclosed that they were anyhow going to bat first, so they would happily take the result of the toss. The stylish southpaw also confirmed that they have replaced Kulwant Khejroliya with the promising Vaibhav Arora in their eleven for this clash.

KKR are expected to bring Suyash Sharma as their impact player, as they will bowl second.
