Ravindra Jadeja Takes 12 Against Pant’s Delhi

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja ravaged Delhi with a match-winning 12-wicket haul in Rajkot on his return to Ranji Trophy for Saurashtra. Taking field at the Niranjan Shah Stadium, Jadeja picked up figures of 5-66 in the first innings, and claimed another seven wickets in the second innings at an expense of just 38 runs to finish the match with figures of 12-104 from 29.5 overs.

Notably, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed fellow national teammate and Delhi veteran Rishabh Pant in each innings of the match. Moreover, the legendary left-arm spinner also snared the wicket of Delhi captain Ayush Badoni in both innings as Saurashtra registered a huge 10-wicket victory on Day 2.

Abhishek Sharma Doubtful For 2nd T20I vs England

Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma twisted his ankle during practice and is now a doubtful starter for Team India against England in the upcoming second T20I of the five-match series in Chennai. The 24-year-old clattered 79 runs from just 34 balls with five boundaries and eight sixes in the series-opener at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

As reported by the Indian Express, Sharma harmed his ankle during the warm-ups and was spotted limping at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. If the youngster fails to make a cut into the playing XI against England in the second XI, he will likely be replaced either by Washington Sundar or Dhruv Jurel, as per our analysis.

ICC Announces Test, ODI And Women’s Teams Of The Year

The ICC unveiled men’s Test team of the Year, men’s ODI team of the year as well as women’s ODI team of the year as part of the ICC Awards 2024 on January 24. As many as three Indian cricketers, four Englishmen, two New Zealanders, a rising Sri Lankan star and Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins made a cut into the Test XI of the year.

Sydney Thunder Qualifies For BBL 2024-25 Final

Sydney Thunder, under the leadership of David Warner, defeated cross-city rivals Sydney Sixers at the SCG in the challenger match of the BBL 2024-25 season to qualify for the finals. Batting first, the Sixers hauled 151-7 from 20 overs courtesy of a swift 30-ball 43* from Jordan Silk. For the Thunder, fast bowler Wes Agar and spinner Tom Andrews picked up two wickets each in their respective spells.

In response, Sam Billings led Sydney Thunder’s run-chase with a sparkling 29-ball 42*. Nathan McAndrew also clobbered an attacking seven-ball 19* to blaze Thunder past Sixers total with four wickets and seven balls to spare. David Warner and co. will now face Hobart Hurricanes in the finals on Monday, January 27 in Hobart.

Virender Sehwag To Divorce Wife Aarti: Reports

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag will reportedly be divorcing his wife Aarti after 20 years of marriage. The two tied the knot back in April 2004 in a wedding ceremony hosted by Indian politician Arun Jaitley. As reported by the Hindustan Times, Sehwag and Aarti have already been living apart for a few months. The couple have two sons together, Aryavir and Vedant born in 2007 and 2010 respectively.
