Anrich Nortje is one of the best fast bowlers in the world currently and has the ability to fire bullets at over 150 kph on a consistent basis. He has been successful all around the world in international cricket and franchise cricket and time and again has shown the value of a genuine speedster.

In an intensely fought contest between PBKS and DC, he once again showed his value and gave away just 5 runs at the death in the penultimate over when Punjab needed 38 runs of the last two overs. Delhi eventually won the game by 15 runs and ended up spoiling Punjab's party.

Talking after the match, Anrich Nortje said that it was nice to see some grass on the pitch and added that HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala is one of the best venues in the world. He mentioned that they just tried to use the conditions well and he was pretty much focussed in the death overs. He added that slower balls have become necessary nowadays and added that Kuldeep Yadav was their standout bowler and the fielders including him did not help him by dropping catches.

"When we got here, it was nice to see some grass here and it is one of the best venues in the world. Just tried to use the conditions while we bowled. I was just trying to be focussed in the death overs. Nowadays, the guys are set up for the full-paced balls. So have to use the slower ones but not too often. I can assess the conditions better while playing here in India. I must say Kuldeep was our standout bowler tonight and we didn't help him by dropping the catches."

Delhi Capitals are already out of the playoff race and will play their last game of IPL 2023 against CSK at Arun Jaitley Stadium on 20th of May.
