Jammu and Kashmir veteran batter Paras Dogra moved up to second place in the list of all-time highest run-scorers in Ranji Trophy history after he weathered a collapse to guide his team to victory over Services. Dogra, who previously played for Himachal Pradesh and Pondicherry, now only ranks second to Wasim Jaffer in the historic list.
Domestic cricket finally returned to Jammu & Kashmir this Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season as the recent game between J&K and Services was hosted by Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar. While the facilities were not up to the mark, this matchup marked the start of a better future.
That being said, J&K captain Paras Dogra grabbed the limelight with a historic achievement in his team’s innings and 25-run victory against Services. After bowling out the visitors for 71 in the first innings, the hosts put up small partnerships to score 228/10 in response.
