The 4th Test between India and England is scheduled to start on 23rd of February with India leading the series by a 2-1 margin after thumping win in Rajkot. The pitch as always is a matter of focus ahead of the Test match but some unexpected showers a day before the game has now added another dimension to the whole scenario.

The 30-yard circle at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi has been covered according to the pictures coming out from the stadium, and we might see a bit of curtailed game if our not-so-beloved friend, rain continues to make its appearance in the coming days.

The weather for the initial four days of the Test match was expected to be bit cloudy but chances of rain were slim, something that might change now after the showers on Thursday, 22nd of February.

England have already announced their playing XI and with Ben Stokes bit confused about their nature of the pitch, the rain factor might increase his confusion a bit more now.

Nevertheless, the cricket has been fast-paced in this series so far, and even if rain does force some breaks, we will most probably get a result at the end of what is expected to be a thriller.
