Kolkata weather update for KKR Vs RCB IPL match
Accuweather report on Kolkata weather
In what is perceived as the clash of two juggernauts, rain could be the one which decides the outcome of the match at the Eden Gardens. As per Accuweather, the temperature will be 30 degrees celsius, however, there are predictions of rain in the evening on Saturday.
There is a 90 percent chance of precipitation as fans are sweating hard and have kept their fingers crossed for the clash. Kolkata weather is generally unpredictable and rain could be the one to threaten the outcome of the match.
Both KKR and RCB have new captains for IPL 2025
Interestingly, both KKR and RCB let go off their skippers from the previous season ahead of the IPL retentions. While Shreyas Iyer went to Punjab Kings and was appointed their captain, Faf du Plessis was purchased by DC and he became their vice-captain.
In Iyer's place, KKR made Ajinkya Rahane their captain, while RCB appointed their star, Rajat Patidar as du Plessis' successor.
