Indian head coach Rahul Dravid thinks Virat Kohli is fresh after a one-month break and is satisfied after getting good game time in the last two matches.
Kohli, who opted to take a rest for the Zimbabwe and Caribbean Tour made a return to the side in the ongoing Asia Cup.
Currently, the 33-year-old is the top scorer for the Men in Blue with 94 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 120.51. Virat's latest outing against Hong Kong was a confidence booster, wherein he fetched 59* off 44 balls.
Ahead of the IND vs PAK Clash, Dravid hoped Kohli would continue his rich vein of form throughout the tournament.
"For us, it's not really about how many runs he makes. Especially with Virat, people get a little bit obsessed with his statistics and numbers," said Dravid.
"It's about the contributions he makes at different phases of the game. It doesn't have to be in the 50s or 100s or a stat for us, even a small contribution makes a lot for us in T20s."
