India's domestic season will resume on Sunday, 1st of October as the 60th edition of Irani Cup will be held in Rajkot.

The Ranji champions Saurashtra will host the Rest of India in the 2023-24 Irani Trophy.

Both the teams announced their squads for a one-off five-day match that is scheduled to be held at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium from October 1-5.

As expected, Saurashtra will be captained by India international Jaydev Unadkat, who is coming from a County stint with Sussex. The squad also features veteran batter Cheteshwar Pujara along with domestic stalwart Sheldon Jackson, who will form the fulcrum of the Saurashtra batting line-up.

As for the Rest of India, the absence of the Asian Games-bound players have led to the selection for someone like Rohan Kunnummal.
