PSL 2022: Fakhar Zaman unleashes batting masterclass

Lahore Qalandars' Fakhar Zaman was on song against Multan Sultans in the PSL 2022 match in Karachi. The left-handed opener smashed the Multan bowlers all around the park and notched up 76 off just 35 deliveries, a knock that included two maximums and 11 fours during the course. 

Lahore had a brilliant start to the proceedings as Zaman and Abdullah Shafique put up 89 runs for the first wicket in less than 9 overs before Shafique departed for a 22-ball 24. 

Zaman was then joined by Kamran Ghulam who too made some important contributions as he scored 43 off 31 including three sixes and a couple of fours. At the time of writing, the Qalandars were 171/4 in 17.4 overs with Imran Tahir completing his four overs. The right-arm bowler returned with figures of 1/32 in 4 overs.
