After sacking Ricky Ponting from Delhi Capitals' head coach role, the Rishabh Pant-led side are set to take a significant step in order to set up a prolific bunch of players in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

The Delhi-based franchise will have a new scouting team, as revealed by News18, as they aim for a brand-new system after dropping a massive hint of releasing Pant as well.

Delhi Capitals To Have A New Scouting Team

Notably, Delhi have not won a single IPL title. They, under Ponting's head coach duty, reached playoffs in three successive years, but failed to lift the title.

Delhi Capitals were previously known as Delhi Daredevils, and needless to say, they did not win any title either. Therefore, a massive change in system is required if they want to turn the tide after 17 years, and the change in scouting system is one thing which they bring in order to change the fortune.

Meanwhile, the BCCI is yet to confirm how many retentions will be there before all ten teams begin the bidding war in the next mega auction.
