The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to donate 100 percent of the gate money from the first T20I between Pakistan and England to the Prime Minister's flood-relief fund. Pakistan is currently facing one of the worst floods in the nation's 75-year history, which has witnessed over lakhs displaced and over 1,000 people dead.

According to various outlets, the natural disaster has already cost the state over $10 billion worth of damage across the northern part of the country.

PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja in his statement, has urged fans to come out in numbers and buy tickets, which hopefully provide a livelihood to millions across.  The board has already donated medicines, food, and other essential commodities

"As cricket unites our proud nation, we stand firmly with the victims and all those involved in the flood relief and rescue operations. As a responsible and caring organisation, the PCB has always stood with its fans and public in tough, challenging and testing times. In this regard, we have decided to donate gate proceeds from the first T20I against England next month to the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund," - Raja.
