There's undoubtedly a fault in Sanju Samson's stars as they don't seem to be by his side in the need of the hour. His recent outing with the Indian team during the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka was too dull for his good as he departed for twin ducks in both games.

It was a slightly unexpected move when Captain Suryakumar Yadav dropped Rishabh Pant in the 3rd T20I at Pallekele and announced that Sanju Samson would continue as India's wicket-keeper batter for the game. 

However, a fresh set of reports by Cricxtasy, rapidly spreading on social media, reveals that Rishabh Pant voluntarily asked SKY to give him rest to ensure that Sanju Samson gets another opportunity.
