In a chilling revelation, Pakistan all-rounder Usman Qadir claimed that PCB-appointed doctors and captain Babar Azam purposely kept him out of the team on the pretext of injury to destroy his career.

Usman Qadir, once a regular face of Pakistan’s national side, has struggled to compete with the incoming promising youngsters. He last played a T20 against England in a home series back in 2022.

However, Qadir recently accused PCB of conspiracy to destroy his career by purposely keeping him out of the team. In a detailed interview, Qadir revealed that after he got injured against England in a bilateral series, PCB forcefully took him on tour to New Zealand for a Tri-series.

After his thumb fracture subsided, Usman Qadir alleges that he was disallowed to bowl in the nets and was asked to get an additional X-ray test instead. He further added that X-rays showed two fractures while he initially was diagnosed with just one fracture.

Qadir mentioned an Australian doctor appointed by PCB for staging a conspiracy as his refusal to declare Qadir fit led to the exclusion from Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad in 2022.

Usman Qadir further alleged that the Babar Azam led team even refused to release him from the reserve list to play first class cricket and purposely delayed his rest period on the pretext of injury.

He later claimed that the Australian doctor accepted his mistake, but it was too late, as Usman Qadir had already lost his place in the Pakistan team.

The all-rounder apparently has all the proof of the conspiracy but couldn’t fight as no one on the board or the team led by Babar Azam listened to him.
