The highly anticipated Bangladesh Tour Of Pakistan is finally here, with the first Test at Rawalpindi set to kick off on August 21st.

As the teams gear up for the upcoming clash, a Pakistani journalist has disclosed that, according to reliable sources, the inclusion of mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed in the Rawalpindi Test against Bangladesh is on the cards. This could be a game-changer for the Pakistan team.

It's important to note that while there's no official confirmation yet, the Pakistan team, led by Shan Masood, might consider bringing in the bowler to unsettle the Bangladeshi Tigers.

Abrar Ahmed Likely To Lead Spin Attack vs BAN

Previously, speaking at a press conference ahead of the Bangladesh series, Abrar said:

"I've been with the team since the World Cup. Whether I play or not is up to the team management. My job is to keep improving my bowling. I'm working hard on my fitness and skills. The rest is in the hands of the captain and management."

While talking further Abrar also stated that he is ready to face any challenge, emphasizing that his preparation has been thorough despite limited match time.

"Our spinners are all getting ready. I became the tournament's top bowler playing on green pitches. No matter the wicket, I will stick to my line and length. That's my plan. Watching matches teaches you a lot. Imad bhai is excellent in T20s, and I've learned a lot from watching him and others. Even if I don't get a chance to play, I’m constantly learning and improving until my opportunity comes,” he added.
