Pakistan Announces Jam-Packed Women’s Cricket Schedule For 2025-26

On July 18, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a very busy season for the women’s national cricket team for 2025-26. The upcoming year will be especially exciting, as it features two of the biggest international events in women’s cricket: the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. 

Alongside these international tournaments, Pakistan’s women cricketers will also take part in a variety of domestic and international matches, as well as development programs for younger players.

Starting with youth cricket, Pakistan’s Under-19 women team is scheduled to tour Bangladesh in December 2024 for a five-match T20 series. Before this tour, a National U19 Women’s T20 Tournament will take place in Karachi from 15 September to 6 October. 

Domestic Calender

On the international front, the Pakistan women’s team will begin its 2025-26 campaign by traveling to Ireland for a three-match T20 series from 6 to 10 August 2025. After that, South Africa will visit Pakistan for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, scheduled for 16, 19, and 22 September. These matches will serve as vital preparation for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, which will be held in Sri Lanka and India.

During the World Cup, Pakistan will play seven matches in the league stage from 2 to 24 October 2025. If the team performs well and qualifies for the semi-finals and final, those matches will take place on 29 October and 2 November in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

A highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan will take place during the round-robin stage on 5 October 2025.

Pakistan Women's Cricket Calendar 2025-26 Season

The international schedule continues into early 2026, with Pakistan touring South Africa from 7 February to 2 March for three ODIs and three T20 matches. These games are part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, which helps determine qualification for future World Cups. After that, Pakistan will host Zimbabwe for another series of three ODIs and three T20s between 24 April and 11 May.

To prepare for the T20 World Cup in England, which runs from 12 June to 5 July 2026, the Women In Green will take part in a triangular T20 series in Ireland featuring the host team and the West Indies. This tournament will give players valuable match experience just before the World Cup begins.
