  • Nothing Is Wrong Csk Official Denies Rumours Of A Rift With Ravindra Jadeja

'Nothing is wrong,' CSK official denies rumours of a rift with Ravindra Jadeja

There have been indications of a rift developing between Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings. The Indian all-rounder recently brought down all his social media posts related to the IPL franchise, which has left fans with plenty of questions.

Jadeja was appointed as the skipper of Chennai Super Kings just prior to the Indian Premier League 2022 season. However, just midway through the tournament, Jadeja decided to relinquish his captaincy after a dismal start to the campaign. As a result, MS Dhoni was back at the helm for the four-time champions.

To make matters worse, Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of the rest of the tournament due to an injury. There were rumours of a rift developing between the franchise and player back then. Now, the matter has resurfaced again, as the all-rounder has deleted all Instagram posts related to the franchise from the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

However, a CSK official has cleared the air of uncertainty surrounding the situation. He has clearly mentioned that there is nothing wrong on their end, and the decision to delete all social media posts was completely Jadeja's decision.

"Jadeja didn't wish Dhoni on his birthday this year. (He does it every year). He has also deleted all his CSK-related posts on Instagram. Something is definitely not right," said the CSK official.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has made a stunning return to International Cricket. The veteran all-rounder scored a brilliant hundred in the first innings of the fifth Test against England. This was his first overseas Test hundred. The 33-year-old has also been included in the T20I and ODI squad to face England.
