Spot light: Mark Chapman, Preview, Fantasy Tips and Dream 11

New Zealand will lock horns with the Netherlands in the first T20I of the two-match series in The Hague at 8.30 PM IST tomorrow.

New Zealand whitewashed Ireland and Scotland recently, winning five consecutive T20Is in this process. The Dutch, on the other hand, finished their World Cup qualifiers campaign as runners-up, losing to a clinical Zimbabwe in the final.

This series will help the players from both sides fine-tune their preparations before the World Cup to be played later this year. Considering their stature, New Zealand will start as firm favourites in the series. But as cricket is a game of uncertainty, we can't entirely rule out Netherlands' chances.

Spot light player: Mark Chapman

Chapman played a match-winning knock of 83 in the second match of the recently concluded T20I series against Scotland. The swashbuckling southpaw smashed five fours and seven sixes, batting the hosts out of the game alongside Michael Bracewell. He slammed a scintillating ton in the subsequent one-off ODI as well. Looking at his marvellous form, we can expect Chapman to put up another stunning show in tomorrow's encounter.

Pitch Report: The average scoring rate at the venue is found to be 7.31, suggesting the track's conduciveness for bowling. The teams batting second have emerged victorious more times than those batting first. So, the toss-winner in tomorrow's game will likely opt to field first.
