Mohsin Khan For T20 World Cup 2024; Irfan Pathan Picks India's Squad To Become Champions

With the focus on the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), there is a T20 World Cup coming, where Team India have a strong chance to break their jinx in the ICC tournament.

As per reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the 15-member for the T20 World Cup 2024 in the last month of April. However, T20 WC-winning all-rounder, Irfan Pathan, has named his best possible squad that would help India win the glory.

While speaking on an ESPNcricinfo show, Pathan picked India's 15-member squad, starting with captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, who are the automatic choices as per the veteran all-rounder. 

Apart from the trio, he picked Gujarat's skipper Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh as batters in his squad. He further named KL Rahul as one of the keepers, along with Jitesh Sharma as Rishabh Pant is still not fully recovered from his injuries.

Apart from Rahul, Mohsin Khan is the only Lucknow cricketer who has made Pathan's cut. The former cricketer picked the LSG left-arm seamer over Arshdeep Singh, who was India's star in the last T20 World Cup.

"He's different, he's very different. The only thing is his fitness and what kind of form he is in. As far as the quality is concerned, he is tall, he has got a high-arm action and he has got awkward bounce," Irfan Pathan said while picking Mohsin over Arshdeep Singh. 

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, who are undoubtedly the best pacers in the country, were also part of Pathan's squad for the upcoming ICC trophy. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are the all-rounders, alongwith Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav.
