Mohammed Shami Arjuna Award: List Of Cricketers To Have Won The Award

The Arjuna Award is particularly a sporting award and is presented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Indian Government. This specific award is the second-highest sporting award after the Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Award. Today, Indian fast-bowler, Mohammed Shami has been awarded the Arjuna Award for his on-field performances in the year 2023, where he was the highest wicket-taker in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. 

This award counts for the performances of the last four years and Mohammed Shami with his invaluable contributions to Indian cricket over the last few years has achieved this badge of honour and will also get a prize money of INR 15 Lakhs. The fast bowler has become the 58th cricketer to have won the award. 

All the legendary cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and many others have received the same honour for their on-field contributions while representing India.
