'Miss You Pappa..,' Siraj Posts Emotional Instagram Story After Becoming Number 1 Bowler

The Miya Magic or the Siraj Express that we saw in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023 took Sri Lanka by storm as pacer Mohammed Siraj bowled a dream spell of 6/21 to knock over the opposition for just 50, hence assisting in India's commanding victory by ten wickets. That incredible performance saw him rise to the number 1 position in the bowler's ODI ranking charts.
To celebrate his success of becoming number 1, he shared an emotional story on Instagram where his parents are seen looking at the photo of all three of them together with Siraj in the centre. And below, he has attached a picture of himself celebrating after taking a wicket in the Asia Cup.
Above the photo, Siraj has written the words, 'Miss You Pappa' with crying emojis, which showcases his love for his father.
To those who don't know, Siraj is quite attached to his family as he often talks and remembers his late father, whom he lost back in 2020 when the right-armer was about to make his Test debut in Australia during Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
However, that didn't impact his performance as the Hyderabad-born grabbed the opportunity with both hands to rattle the Australian side with his pace and bounce, causing great trouble on bouncy pitches.
Even after two years of his iconic spell, Siraj hasn't let himself fall down and, in fact, grown leaps and bounce in his career. Next, the Indian cricketer will be seen representing the side in the three-match ODI series against Australia that will be played as a curtain-raiser to the World Cup 2023.
