The all-important ICC Men's World Cup 2023 is just a fortnight away, with ten teams ready to give it their everything as a once-in-a-four-year event is one of the biggest celebrations in world cricket. To make the event more memorable and glittering, the ICC is set to launch the official anthem that will feature Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh and, in all likelihood, Dhanashree Verma, wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.

As mentioned by the global body, music will be produced by singer Pritam and the song is titled 'Dil Bole Jashn'. The official release timing of the song is 12 PM IST on 20th September, Wednesday and will celebrate the passion of cricket as World Cup returns to India after 12 years.

The song will be released online on official ICC social media handles, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and on their Whatsapp Channel. Mentioning on their handles, ICC wrote,

"The greatest cricketing Jashn is almost here, 12 pm IST tomorrow!"

Also, the governing body's Whatsapp channel will release the song earlier than any other platform.

"Keep your eyes peeled and your dancing shoes at the ready on Wednesday - and don’t tell anyone, but we might just reveal this catchy classic first here on our WhatsApp channel."

Talking about the official anthems, the past ones have been fan favourites, such as 'De Ghumake' for the 2011 edition of the World Cup, 'WDL - Bob's Beat (Ft. Mawe)' for 2015 World Cup, 'Stand By' for 2019 World Cup whereas 2021 T20 World Cup also had the song named 'Live The Game'.

Coming back to cricket, this edition will also feature ten teams like the previous one. It will be hosted entirely by India, with the first game to be played between England and New Zealand at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on 5th October.
