MI's Top-Order Crumble Against GT; Impact Player Tilak Varma Departs Cheaply

Mumbai Indians are in a spot of bother in the ongoing game between GT and MI as they have lost their top order early in a bid to chase down a mammoth target of 208. Rohit Sharma, the skipper departed in the second over as Hardik Pandya made an immediate impact while opening the bowling. The other bowlers then kept the pressure on and made it difficult for Ishan Kishan to get going even though Green hit some lovely boundaries.
The pressure eventually got into the head of Ishan Kishan and he holed out at long on on in the 8th over of the innings against Rashid Khan. The Afghan then got rid of Tilak Varma as well who came in as an impact Player replacing Kumar Kartikeya as MI were reduced to 45-3 at the end of 8 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav has now joined Cameron Green into the middle and MI need both of these two to play blinders to take five-time champions over the line. At the time of writing, Mi are 58-3 at the end of 10 overs and they now need 150 in the last 60 balls to pull off a win here.
