Gujarat Titans have brought in their Impact Player against the Mumbai Indians. Ireland's Josh Little replaced half-centurion Shubman Gill, who batted so well and deserved a bit of rest.
With Gujarat defending a total, it was obvious that someone with the skillset of Josh Little will come on in the second innings to provide that extra cushion with the ball.
This is not the first time Little has been used as an impact player and the Irish player has done well whenever he has been given the opportunity in the playing XI.
So far, in 4 matches, Little has picked up 3 wickets, but the economy has been on the higher side (9.00).
Little was purchased by Gujarat Titans for INR 4.4 crore, and his left-arm variety gives an added option to an already stacked bowling attack.
Talking about the match, the Titans have posted a mammoth 207 for 6. Gill scored a brilliant fifty while David Miller, Abhinav Manohar and Rahul Tewatia finished on a high for their side.
In reply, Mumbai Indians have already lost Rohit Sharma for a paltry 2.
