In a recent interaction with fans during the ongoing SA20 League, South Africa's rising batting sensation, Dewald Brevis, who is affectionately known as 'Baby AB De Villiers,' revealed his all-time favourite player from the Pakistan cricket team.

Currently representing MI Cape Town, Dewald Brevis engaged with a passionate Pakistan cricket team fan at the venue and was candidly asked about his preferred player from the national team. Without hesitation, he disclosed that the former Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, holds the prestigious title of being his favourite.

This revelation comes hot on the heels of Pakistan's performance in the recently concluded five-match T20I series against New Zealand, where the tourists unfortunately faced a 4-1 defeat.

Despite the team's overall struggle, Babar Azam emerged as a shining star, delivering an impressive performance throughout the series. The former captain showcased his batting class with three consecutive fifties, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer with a remarkable tally of 213 runs at an average of 42.60 and an impressive strike rate of 142.00.

Brevis, meanwhile, is currently playing for the MI franchise in the SA20 2024, where he hasn't fared that well with the bat. Heading into the IPL, the 20-year-old will play a key role in Hardik Pandya-led side in the forthcoming T20 gala.
