With just a couple of days left for the World Cup to kick off, the former cricketers have been predicting their four semifinalists. Michael Vaughan, the former English cricket has named his four semifinalists for the World Cup 2023.

A few days back, Vaughan commented on the Indian team that whoever beats India, will be the one to win the World Cup. He also said that the Indian team have the perfect combinations suited for these conditions, and with batters in top form, the Indian team will be tough to beat.

The former English cricketer is the one who actively participates in the discussions that surround cricket. Now that the World Cup is going to start in a couple of days, Vaughan has tweeted on X (formerly called Twitter) predicting his four semifinalists of the tournament.

He has chosen India as his first team, which is fair enough considering the advantage of being the hosts. Indian team has been playing a good brand of cricket lately. With Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer back in the squad, the Indian team looks stronger than ever.

He further has chosen England, South Africa and Pakistan as his other three teams. England have one of the best squads with the specialised players. However, the conditions will be a bit similar to that of Pakistan, which gives them an advantage as well. And surprisingly, he has chosen South Africa as well, the team who have never won a World Cup. But the Proteas looked in great shape and have recently beaten Australia.

The next one and a half months are going to be an exciting one for the cricket community as the biggest event will be happening in India.
