Kedar Jadhav is a popular figure in world cricket and has played some match-winning knocks for India in international cricket. He has played for variety of franchises in the IPL as well and his most successful stint in the IPL was for CSK. However, the right-handed batter from Maharashtra last played in the IPL in 2021 and was unsold in the 2023 auction.

It seemed that he would not be able to play IPL anymore but he managed to make a wild-card entry in IPL 2023. He came in as a replacement of David Willey midway during IPL for RCB and the right-handed batter would be looking to make the most of this opportunity.

Now, in the ongoing game between MI and RCB, Kedar Jadhav has got his first chance to bat this season. He walked out to bat as an Impact Player in place of Mahipal Lomror with RCB 146-5 in the 15th over.

Kedar Jadhav showed no nerves though and smashed his very first ball on comeback for a boundary, making his intentions clear. He is a quality batter and was known as a good finisher in his prime. RCB will be hoping for the same from the Jadhav in this crucial MI-RCB encounter at the Wankhede.
