The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume on 17th May after a brief halt. The tournament was put on pause earlier this month due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. However, the situation has somewhat stabilised, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released an updated match schedule.

MI vs DC IPL 2025 Match Rescheduled 

With the situation improving, the IPL 2025 will continue from 17th May. Mumbai Indians (MI) will play their first match after the break against Delhi Capitals (DC). The game, originally scheduled for 15th May, will now take place on 21st May.

Mumbai Indians have confirmed that tickets purchased for the 15th May game will remain valid for the rescheduled match on 21st May.

Important MI vs DC Ticket Information

Here’s what ticket holders need to know about the rescheduled match:

  • Validity of Tickets:

The MI vs DC match, initially scheduled for 15th May 2025, is now moved to 21st May 2025. Tickets bought for the 15th May match will automatically be valid for the new date. There’s no need to take any extra steps.

  • Refund Option:

If you cannot attend the match on the new date, you can request a refund during a 24-hour window from 12:00 PM on 14th May to 12:00 PM on 15th May. During this period, you will receive an SMS with instructions on how to proceed.

Refunds will only be processed for the entire transaction (all tickets purchased together). After the refund is processed, neither BookMyShow nor Mumbai Indians will have any further liability.

  • Missed the Refund Window?

 If you don’t respond by 15th May, 12:00 PM, it will be assumed that you wish to retain your ticket. In this case, your booking will be automatically carried over to 21st May.

  • Physical Tickets:

 Physical tickets marked with the 15th May date will still be valid for 21st May as long as they scan validly at the gate. There is no need to exchange them for new ones. For the Corporate or physical ticket holders, they can also apply for refunds within the specified window.
